First commission, the Croatian Kuna

I completed my first commission today, coins from Croatia.

These coins a, 1 KUNA and 2 KUNA piece were brought were back from Croatia and kept as keepsakes, they have now been turned into rings for both the travelers to wear.

Both these rings are coins are made of a copper-nickel alloy, and as such will react with the wearers’ skin, causing a discolouration. which is not ideal for long-term wear.

I have coated the inside of these rings with a black powder-coat, this forms a barrier between the wearers’ skin and the metal, eliminating discolouration, enabling the ring to be worn on a permanent basis.
