Q. How do I place an order?

1 – Chose your ring size. We use UK ring sizing. If you do not know your ring size, this handy guide will help you find your correct size and covert from other systems.

Alternatively,  have your finger sized at a local jewellery shop.

Please try to get the correct size, as once these rings are completed they can only be resized up or down one size.

2 – Choose your preferred finish. We offer our rings in a highly polished finish, or with a darker patina to make the design stand out. See our product photos for examples of both finishes. Choose “polished” or “darkened”.

3 – Choose the date you require.

Q. How can I get a specific coin made into a ring?
If you need a specific date and/or type of coin that is not in the ‘shop’ then please use the form on the contact page to let me know what you require, I can then research the coin you require and get back to you with a specific price for your creation.

Q. How long will my coin ring take to be finished?
In most cases, the order will usually be shipped within 7 – 10 working days of purchase. Custom or special orders may require sourcing a specific coin and can take a bit longer.

Q. Can a coin ring mark my finger?
This depends on the metal composition of the coin.The higher the silver percentage of the coin, the less chance the ring will mark your finger.
The more modern coins are made from cupronickel and although they are silver in colour, they may leave a mark on your finger.
Rings made of bronze will be more likely to mark your finger because of their high copper content.

All my non-silver rings are pre-treated with a durable coating, this is a hard wearing, robust covering will act as a barrier between your skin and the metal of the ring and help to prevent the discoloration of the finger.

Postage
UK Delivery – Delivery costs between £5.00 – £10.00 per order depending on the total value of the order. We use Royal Mail 1st Class recorded and ‘Special Delivery’ services.

I handmake all rings to order, delivery time will be in 7 to 10 days on receipt of full payment.

Your parcel will require a signature on receipt. All payments must be received and authorized before shipment. If you request a shipping address which is different to your invoice address I am unable to accept responsibility for packages which become lost, stolen or ‘signed-for’ by third parties.

Your package will be sent using a ‘signed-for’ service which is trackable.

Returns
The rings I offer are handmade to order, specially to your requirements, so we are unable to offer refunds for these pieces unless the item is faulty. This includes rings made to specific sizes, specific dates. If in doubt please get in touch.
If your item is eligible for a refund, please contact me within 14 days of receipt to arrange the return of the item or items. They must be sent back in their original, unworn condition. I will then arrange the exchange.

When ordering Rings, it is the customers’ responsibility to ensure that they have ordered the correct size. A Ring ordered in the incorrect size can be re-sized, but this will be subject to a charge to cover extra time and materials required to make the adjustment.

Please do not rely on the ‘size guide’ it is only a guide to confirm a sizing you may already know. The nature of endless combinations of computer operating systems, software, hardware, printers and their settings means it is very difficult to guarantee the guide is accurately printed and used.

The item is your responsibility until it reaches me. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. I cannot be held responsible for returns that are lost in transit. If you are returning an item to me for a refund or an exchange, be aware that the cost of returning the item to me is your responsibility.

All products to be returned must be carefully repackaged in their original packing and be in an unworn condition. I will not exchange goods that have been worn, do not have their original packaging or show obvious signs of abuse. In this instance, the goods will be returned to the buyer at their own cost. In the interests of fraud prevention, your refund will be issued by the same method that you paid within 28 days of receipt of the return.
